Shipping & Delivery
All merchandises are carefully inspected and leave JBikes.com Fulfilment Center in good condition within 1-2 days once the order has been received. Please allow up to 7 business days for your merchandise(s) to be delivered. Advertised transit times below do not include the processing time which is 1-2 business days. JBikes.com has no control if in the event the item is scheduled to be delayed by the Freight Carrier due to customs of inspection or other circumstances. Tracking # will be provided via email. All merchandises are carefully inspected and left JBikes.com premises in good condition. Packages will be delivered without signature required unless otherwise specified and requested by Customer, and a $3.50 Signature Required Fee will be billed to customer. If package(s) is cancelled or refused by the customer for any circumstances, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs JBikes.com is being billed by the Freight Carrier in the result of return shipment of package(s). Lost or stolen packages once delivered are beyond JBikes.com responsibility. For shortages, damages, wrong item(s), or any other discrepancies please refer to Shortage, Damaged, & Wrong Items section below.
Restrictions - We do not ship to any U.S. Protectorates, APO/FO, other military addresses and U.S. Territories.
 
Store Pick-Up
Store Pick-up lets you buy items online and pick them up in a store. You avoid shipping and scheduled delivery charges, and you may be able to get your order faster. You will have the option to have any bicycles fully assembled by us for additional charges. Our assembly service option is only applied to bicyces only. We will not provide assembly or labor service to any other parts or accessories. Only you, the buyer, can pick up your order yourself. To have your order picked up by someone else, you must input the pick-up's person name and phone number in the "Ship To" section of the checkout. Your pick-up person will need to show his/her ID and the order number. In addition, you will need to provide us a written statement via email or fax to authorize the pick-up person to pick up your order on your behalf. No exception!

Store Pick-Up Procedure:

  1. During checkout, choose Store Pick-Up as the shipping method.
  2. Place your order and wait to receive a "Your Order is Ready for Pick-Up" confirmation email.
  3. Bring an acceptable and valid government-issued photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, or State Identification Card), credit card or PayPal receipt used for the purchase, and your order number.
  4. We'll hold your items at the store for 7 days. If you can't make it by then, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

Changing or Cancelling Store Pick-Up:

  1. To switch from Store Pick-Up, call or email us for the request.
  2. To switch from Shipping to Store-Up, call or email us within 1 hour of placing your order.
  3. To cancel a Store Pick-Up order, please call or email us for the cancellation request. You will need to provide us your last 4 of the credit card number or PayPal email address.
  4. The refund of your cancellation order request will be issued within 3 business days.

Returning Your Store Pick-Up Item(s):

  1. All items must be returned within 7 days from the day of Pick-Up.
  2. Have your proof of purchase (Invoice or Receipt) at the time of your arrival for return.
  3. Return any qualifying item(s) including all of its original materials and packaging directly to the store where it was picked up.
  4. Your refund will be issued once your Return is processed and completed.

Returns & Replacements
At JBikes.com, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it to JBikes.com within 30 days from receiving date. Claims for missing merchandises or merchandises damaged during transit must be received within three business days of receipt of merchandise. If your order is placed online and picked-up in-store, please return the item(s) directly to the store.
  1. All qualifying merchandises for 30-Day Easy-Return can be returned within 30 days from receiving date.
  2. Any unqualified brands, merchandises, categories, and item #s are clearly specified below under “No Return/Exchange/Refund On” section below.
  3. Absolutely no returns and refunds are eligible after 30 days from receiving date.
  4. RMA # must be posted legibly on the outer of the returned package and must be shipped to J Bikes Distribution Center with freight prepaid and insured.
  5. JBikes.com will reject any returned packages without a visible RMA # posted or with postage due.
  6. JBikes.com will not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges.
  7. All returned merchandise(s) will be thoroughly inspected for damages, scratches, shortages, missing original materials and packaging. If such findings are resulted from inspection, an additional fee up to 50% of the merchandise cost will be deducted in the refund.
  8. Upon processing the refund, the customer will be credited the original cost of the merchandise(s) plus any applicable sales tax, less restocking fee (see below), less original shipping cost, and less any additional fees. Please note: If your merchandise was offered with free shipping, the original shipping cost charged by the carrier will be deducted from the customer's refund.
  9. All return inspection and refunds will be made within 3 business days after receiving returned package(s).

**All Unopened/Unassembled/Unused Merchandises returned within 15 days from receiving day will have no restocking fee. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs.

Bicycle Returns

  • 1 – 15 Days:  Subject to 10% restocking fee.
  • 16 – 30 Days:  Subject to 20% restocking fee.

Parts & Accessories Returns

  • 1 – 15 Days:    Subject to 10% restocking fee.
  • 16 – 30 Days:  Subject to 20% restocking fee.

  7. All returned merchandise(s) will be thoroughly inspected for damages, scratches, shortages, missing original materials and packaging. If such findings are resulted from inspection, an additional fee up to 50% of the merchandise cost will be deducted in the refund.
  8. Upon processing the refund, the customer will be credited the original cost of the merchandise(s) plus any applicable sales tax, less restocking fee (see below), less applicable assembly & tuning fees, less applicable service fees, less applicable life-time warranty fee, and less any additional fees.
  9. Refund will be processed on the same day and typically take 3-5 business days to reflect on customer's bank account.

We will process exchange as a new order. If you need to make an exchange, simply follow the “Return Instructions” section above to return your merchandise. Upon received your merchandise and completed your refund, simply place a new order online or by phone for the item you wanted to exchange for.

No Return/Exchange/Refund On:

    4. Clearance and As-Is Items

Shortage, Damaged, & Wrong Items
Customer is expected to inspect merchandise received from JBikes.com for shortages, wrong item(s), defects or any other discrepancies. All claims resulted from this inspection must be made within three (3) days of receipt of item(s) or will not be honored. Pictures as proof are mandatory and needed from customer in order to initiate the claim.  Please be advised that our Live Representatives cannot initiate a claim for your over the phone and we cannot expedite the shipping time of any claims.

File a Claim for Shortages Instructions:

  1. Visit www.JBikes.com and log into My Account.
  2. Click on "HELP DESK" to the left under Account section.
  3. Select "Claims Department".
  4. Select an Order #.
  5. Type your detailed message in respective to the shortage items.
  6. Click "Submit ticket" button to submit your Claim.
  7. You will receive a response to your Claim Ticket within 2 business days.
  8. Reply to the Claim Ticket if additional information is needed.
  9. Once your claim is reviewed and approved, you will receive an update to your Claim Ticket that your shortage item(s) will be shipped within 2 business days.
  10. Wait for the shortage item(s) to arrive, and inspect it for accuracy.
  11. Your Claim Ticket will be closed and no further information or action needed.

File a Claim for Damages Instructions:

Manufacturer Warranty
Bicycles - Manufacturer warranty of 12 Months against frame defects, and 6 Months against component defects. Such warranties do not cover flat tires, inner tubes, tires, wear & tear, alterations, fabrications, rust accumulation, broken chain and spokes, rips & tears, missing nuts and bolts, misuse, scratches, dents, chipped paint, physical damage, water damage, and damages resulted from accidents. Rust can be accumulated and built-up on handlebar and spokes resulted from moisture environments. Cleaning your bicycle on a weekly basis is our best recommendation. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges of warranty and replacement parts.
 
Parts & Accessories - Manufacturer warranty of 6 Months against defects. Such warranty does not cover wear & tear, alterations, fabrications, rust accumulation, missing nuts and bolts, rips & tears, missing nuts and bolts, misuse, scratches, dents, chipped paint, physical damage, water damage, and damages resulted from accidents. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges of warranty and replacement parts.

 

Bicycle Assembly & Tuning
Bicycles
  1. Most bicyles already came 80% factory pre-assembled and wrapped.
  2. Minor assembly is needed such as fenders, front wheel, handlebar, stem, seat post, seat, pedals, and reflectors.
  3. Minor adjustments and tuning are needed such as chain guard, fenders, wheels/rims, handbrakes, shifter, and derailleur (gears).
  4. For safety reason and if you have no knowledge about assembling or adjusting or tuning a bicycle or you're not mechanically inclined, we highly recommend certified professional assembly and tuning on all bicycles.
  5. It is a buyer's responsibility and costs to have the bicycle professionally assembled and tuned.
  6. Weight Capacity:  24" and 26" wheel size is 220 lbs max; 20" wheel size is 130 lbs max; 16" wheel size is 60 lbs max, and 12" wheel size is 45 lbs max.
  7. Tire Pressure (PSI) Max:  Beach Cruisers, Stretch, and Tandems are 40 PSI. Fixed Gear Bikes are 90 PSI.
 
Parts & Accessories
  1. Most bicycle parts and accessories may require certified professional assembly, installation, fabrication, and tweaks.
  2. For safety reason and if you have no knowledge about assembling bicycle parts and accessories or you're not mechanically inclined, we highly recommend certified professional assembly and installation on all bicycle parts and accessories.
  3. It is buyer's responsibility and costs to have the bicycle part or accessories professionally assembled and installed.
 
Terms of Sales
The ownership of the merchandise sold from seller remained with the seller until payments from the customer are cleared through our bank. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. JBikes.com reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. JBikes.com reserves the rights at any time after receipt of your order without prior notices to you, to supply less than the quantity you order of any item, and to reject your order due to technical issue or pricing error. All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Invoices are due and payable in accordance with the term specified herein or on the invoice.
 
Payments, Pricing, Promotions & Availability
Payment - All prices are in US dollar. We gladly accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your Credit Card will be billed upon purchase and ship of your order. We also accept Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, and Certified Bank Checks. Orders are processed upon receipt of fund. JBikes.com will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.
Pricing - All prices are in US dollar. The prices advertised on this site are for online orders only. All prices for bicycles are in-box, unassembled, and does not include any applicable assembly and tuning fee.
Promotions - Items that are On Sale, On Promotion, and Discounted only valid for specified time frame.  J Bikes is unable to back date or apply Sale, Promotion, and Discount once they have been expired or ended.
Availability - All inventory and availablity are subject to change without notice.
 
Sales Tax
JBikes.com shall withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within California. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other applicable taxes, on orders shipped to any other state.
